WHY THIS BOOK EXISTS

I wrote this book because resurrection is central to Christian faith and yet often made surprisingly small. We reduce it to an annual celebration, a promise that we will go somewhere after death, or a metaphor for getting back up after disappointment. Those meanings may touch something real, but they do not carry the claim the earliest witnesses made. They said God raised the crucified Jesus bodily from the dead.

The conversation begins beside a reality no honest hope can ignore. Graves remain, bodies still carry pain, and grief does not disappear simply because Easter is announced.
