Dear Reader,
Some of you have already asked how you can support this work, purchase the books, or help place resources into someone else’s hands. I do not take those questions lightly. They tell me that people are not only reading. They are asking how they can participate responsibly.
The honest answer is that some of the pathways needed to answer those questions are still being built. I would rather tell you that plainly than create the appearance that everything is ready when it is not.
Before we place a button in front of you, I want you to understand the heart behind the structure.
This work has real value. The books, teaching, articles, Written Interviews, and future media do not appear without labor. They require thought, prayer, writing, editing, verification, design, production, distribution, protection, correction, and continued care. Presenting that work professionally is not a departure from the mission. It is part of stewarding the work truthfully.
At the same time, people have dignity that no price can measure. A person’s ability to purchase a book does not reveal how deeply that person loves God, how seriously that person is seeking truth, or how much that person matters. Financial capacity is not spiritual capacity. We must never confuse the two.
Conversations about money can quickly become conversations about judgment. People who can give may be praised as though generosity makes them more faithful. People who need help may feel that they have to explain their lives, prove their hardship, or display gratitude publicly. I do not want us to build that kind of culture.
If someone eventually receives supported access, that help should not create a debt of testimony, loyalty, publicity, service, personal disclosure, or spiritual conformity. Help should remain help. It should not become control wearing the language of generosity.
This is also why we must use clear names for different things. Purchasing a resource from Bourne Again Media is a commercial transaction. It is not a donation, ministry membership, or spiritual commitment. Supporting publishing work, contributing to a nonprofit, sponsoring access for another person, and participating in a Christ-centered movement are related only in the broadest sense. They are not the same action, and they should not be presented as though they are.
Bourne Again Media is the publisher and media company. Bourne Again Ministries is a distinct, board-governed nonprofit pursuing federal recognition. The Bourne Again Movement is a relational vision centered on Jesus Christ, not a paid membership. These distinctions may feel technical, but they protect trust. They help us tell the truth about where money goes, who governs it, what it can be used for, and what no financial transaction can purchase.
Some people may wonder why we are speaking about these matters before the systems are ready. We are speaking now because silence creates its own story. If our first explanation appears beside a purchase link or giving invitation, it may sound like the explanation was written only to support the request. I want the heart to be visible before the mechanism.
There is no hidden request inside this letter. We are not asking you to send money through an undeveloped pathway. We are not announcing prices, availability, giving methods, sponsorship procedures, or an access program. When those details are verified and ready, we will communicate them clearly. Until then, we will not pretend that intention is the same as operation.
What we can tell you now is what will govern the work. Jesus Christ must remain the center. The resources should be presented with substance and professional care. Generosity must be voluntary. Commerce and charity must be distinguished. People who need assistance must be treated with dignity. Every public promise must match what we are actually prepared to do.
I believe it is possible to value the work without worshiping money. I believe it is possible to widen access without making the work feel cheap. I believe it is possible to receive support without manipulating the people who want to help. I also believe that doing these things responsibly requires patience, accountability, and clear boundaries.
So this letter is where I want to begin. Not with a campaign. Not with a button. Not with a price. With an honest conversation about the kind of structure we are trying to build and the kind of heart we want that structure to protect.
Thank you for asking how you can help. Thank you for caring whether the resources can reach others. Your questions matter. We will continue answering them as the pathways become ready, and we will do our best to make sure the answers remain truthful, clear, and centered on the One this work is meant to serve.
With gratitude,
Will Bourne
